Please Note LEISURE WORLD: We have no affiliation with any of the activities in Leisure World and they do not keep us informed about times, prices etc. These details change so frequently that our visitors complained that they were often incorrect, so we decided to remove that information from the site altogether. Leisure World, Aquasplash and Silver Blades are run by a private company, not the local authority and they can only be contacted by the phone numbers and the email addresses shown below .   OUTDOORS there are many wooden climbing frames, scramble nets, aerial runway, slides & swings as well as football pitch, tennis, basketball/netball hoops, cricket, rounders, team games, sports & tournaments are also organised.
  Tuck shop available or bring a picnic, stay all-day or just an hour or so. (Hot snack lunches available - all day opening only). On your first visit please ensure a PARENT fills in a REGISTRATION FORM, after that just sign in & out on each visit. Parents are also welcome to stay.
  Adventure playground FREE, open access facilities that are SUPERVISED by play leaders for young people aged 6-12 years, located on Long Chaulden, Hemel Hempstead. New Opening Hours are TERM TIME Mon-Fri 3.30pm-6.30pm, Sat 1pm-5pm & Sun 1pm-5pm. SCHOOL HOLIDAYS Mon-Fri 9.30am-5.30pm, Sat & Sun closed all weekends of the school holidays.

Shopping

Town centre shopping is much better than it used to be, with the new Riverside development bringing Debenhams, TK Max, H & M, Monsoon and many more to the town. The Marlowes Centre website, gives you an idea of what other shops are in the mall. Out of the town shopping has superstores such as: Tesco, Sainsburys, B&Q, Homebase, Staples, Halfords & Currys.
